I love to make handmade cards, but somehow in the midst of learning “all things blogging” I haven’t found the time to make any. Recently, though, I dusted off my trusty Cricut and made some cards with to have on hand.

The base card (of the patterned ones) was already done (from a set) and I cut the saying out for the front. Or rather, the Cricut did.

I used the cartridge Paper Lace and love it because of the intricate cuts it makes.

These cards can be used for many different purposes, sympathy, get well, birthday or whatever.

I left the cards blank on the inside to allow for a personal note.

Do any of you own a Cricut or other electronic diecutting machine? What kinds of projects do you use it for?  My family gallery wall and scrapbook room quote are my favorite projects using the Cricut and vinyl.

  1. Love it! I bought a cricut last spring, but need to buy a few more cartridges. I’ve used it for scrapbooking, but really want to try the vinyl. Love the card idea, too.

    1. Hey, Laurel. Do you take your Cricut with you when you go scrapbooking? I always do and usually use it more there than at home Have you looked at Project Life?
