I wanted to share the Valentine tablescape I created to help us celebrate our Valentine’s Day anniversary.

For the centerpiece I added a picture of us at our 25th anniversary celebration.

I brought a little bit of nature into the setting with some red berries, using them with a red charger, our wedding china and red and white lace napkins..

I am totally into reusing and repurposing. These hearts were part of our anniversary celebration table decor from last year.

The “love” was purchased at a craft store for $.25 after Christmas to accent the red burlap and white lace table runner.

I also included our wedding scrapbook album (to encourage my husband to look at it later with me, a yearly tradition!) and the jar with our family unity sand.

I served Chicken Marsala with Gorgonzola Cheese (I call it our Love Chicken) for our main course.

A wonderful finale: Chocolate dipped strawberries were delish and so easy!

Thanks so much for sharing our special day with us!

  1. I’m visiting from Funky Junk and I love your Valentine’s Day table decorations. I wanted to do this but was taken out to dinner. Now I have good ideas for next year. 🙂 Everything together looks so pretty! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Liz, I’m so glad you hopped over from Funky Junk! Glad you got taken out for dinner on Valentine’s Day! We always celebrate at home on that date but go out later when the crowds are gone 🙂

  2. Hi Marty,
What a darling post. Your husband, Tim, is hilarious and a very wise man. He know how to water your spirit with praise and respect.
God is soooo good! You and I have been truly blessed with the “genuine article”!
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog. I’m so glad you stopped by.
    Blessings,

  3. Marty, what a lovely table and Happy Anniversary (a little late!). All of the little details that you added like the hearts and the Love cutout piece were adorable. The food looks great – I celebrated Valentine’s Day with chicken marsala (I love it!!) with my husband, but at a restaurant. I must learn to make it!!
