Rustic Summer Centerpiece
This post may contain affiliate links which won't change your price but will share some commission. Read more here.Since we’ve redone this half of the kitchen I’ve been on the lookout for ways to decorate our newly transformed table for each season, yet blend in with my decor.
One of my favorite finds is this ($1) wooden toolbox that was already painted and distressed. (Funny story: when we went on our vacation the owners of the house we rented had this exact same toolbox! Bet I found mine cheaper!)
My sweet blogging friend Amy from Atta Girl Says (and fellow host of our weekly link party) gave me the Coke bottles and the blue bottle was from our daughter’s frugal wedding decorations. I used ripped fabric from our shabby chic dining chairs and burlap strands to wrap around the bottles.
The flowers were purchased half off at Hobby Lobby and were the perfect accent to bring out the blue and yellow in the centerpiece.
That little menu board you see is a project I’ll share with you soon. So easy and fun!

Love the colors you have used. Could you please email me the name of the yellow paint. That is just the color I need for my kitchen. Thanks, Melind
Hi, Melinda. Sorry it took me a little bit to find the paint color. The paint is Behr Premium Plus Ultra Paint and Primer in One (from Home Depot) in yellow beg. (the rest was hidden by a tag) with the #7242W. Hope that helps!
Thanks!
I love that teal/blue color more than anything in the world I love this room and want to move it. 🙂

I agree with Kirby. Your eating area looks like such a happy place! I love all of the frugal ideas that you used to put your cute centerpiece together.
I have a question. What keeps the lights from getting to hot under the jars?
